Mike Curb was born in Savannah, Georgia in 1944. A music mogul, politician, President of MGM records. In the late 70’s he was Lt. Gov of California and in 1980 while Governor Moonbeam -Jerry Brown was off chasing presidential dreams- he was often acting governor. The Mike Curb Congregation had 4 Hot 100 hits- their biggest hit was with Sammy Davis Jr- “Candyman.” in 1972. “Burning Bridges” is from the Clint Eastwood movie Kelly’s Heroes.
