  1. Great music, both familiar & I think a little new material for everybody. It’s been a great event so far…on to second half. Surprises? No Led Zep, Doors, CCR, Ramones, Pink Floyd…what will next 50 be?

  2. A few stats that likely tell as much about the ten of us as it does about music…nah, it tells us about great music! Of the first 50 albums selected, five were “live”, 45 studio. 23 were American (I count Fleetwood Mac as that for this list, since they were half American and working in California), 20 from the UK, five Canadian (yay!) and two representatives of Ireland. The range of years covered was 1965-2015, but there’s a caveat… the 2015 was the Who live, doing mostly old songs. So it’s fair to say the years included were really 1965-2002. 12 were picked from the ’60s, 22 from the ’70s, 8 out of the ’80s, 6 ’90s releases and two from this century. 1968 & 1973 were two most popular years so far, with four titles from each.
Look for that ’70s domination to continue once Hans rolls out all those Osmonds and BAy City Rollers albums!

    • Thanks for the update- I was wondering about a breakdown but was honestly too lazy to do one- Thanks Dave for the update.
