  1. So weird! I’ve heard of the Isle of Wight Festival. Everybody knows about Woodstock. But I just saw a documentary the other day about the 1969 Harlem Cultural Festival that ran every Sunday from June to August. Hundreds of thousands of people attended and there were performers like Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, 5th Dimension, Mahalia Jackson! Weirdly, it’s called “The Black Woodstock” even though it started BEFORE Woodstock. Oh, well. What are ya gonna do?
On a lighter note, Melissa M. is one of my favorite actors of all time. I went into “The Boss” thinking it would be meh, but I guffawed a lot.
