The Beatles Song Of The Day is “The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill” which is on The Beatles “The Beatles” album. The song was written by John Lennon. John would say about the song, “That was written about a guy in Maharishi’s meditation camp who took a short break to go shoot a few poor tigers and then came back to commune with God. There used to be a character called Jungle Jim, and I combined him with Buffalo Bill. It’s sort of teenage social comment snog and a bit of a joke. John Lennon: vocal, acoustic guitar and organ/ Paul McCartney: backing vocal, bass guitar/ George Harrison: backing vocal, acoustic  guitar/ Ringo Starr: backing vocal, drums and tambourine/ Yoko Ono: vocal and backing vocal/ Maureen Starkey: backing vocals/ Chris Thomas:  Mellotron. The song was recorded on October 8th, 1968 at Abbey Road. Producer: George Martin.
