Beginnings: The young band at Crawdaddy Club in Richmond 1963

It all started on this day- July 12,  1962 at the Marquee Club in London-The Rolling Stones first concert. I wonder if the boys have one more huge concert tour left in them? Personally I think they should have called it quits years ago. The Beatles got it right. The Rolling Stones are my third favorite British rock group behind The Beatles and The Who. My favourite Stones album would have to be “Exile On Main Street” My favorite Stones song “Tumbing Dice” Charlie has to be my favourite Stone. I’ve seen the Stones three times in concert.

    • That is funny. I know Keith thought the world of him. He didn’t seem upset at all that he ended up being a tour manager/roadie.
