The Beatles Song of the Day is “Thank You Girl.” “Thank You Girl” was the B-side to the third Beatles single “From Me To You” which was released in April of 1963. “Thank You Girl” was going to be the third Beatles single until they came up with “From Me To You.” Both songs were recorded on the same day March 5th, 1963, the only day they would have free for weeks. It was recorded at Abbey Road. John and Paul wrote the song together. John Lennon: double tracked vocal, rhythm guitar, harmonica/ Paul McCartney: harmony vocal and bass guitar/ George Harrison: lead guitar and harmony vocal/ Ringo Starr: drums.
