SINGER-SONGWRITER MICHAEL JOHNSON- ‘BLUER THAN BLUE’ DEAD AT 72

Singer- songwriter Michael Johnson whose biggest hit was 1978’s MOR hit “Bluer Than Blue” which peaked at #12 on the Top 100 has died at the age of 72. He had two other Top 40 hits “Almost Like Being In Love”-#32 also in 1978 and “This Night Won’t Last Forever” #19 in 1979. I didn’t know this but he went on to have a couple country #1’s in the mid-80’s and a string of country hits in the 80’s. Johnson died Tuesday after a long illness.
