  • ELVIS COSTELLO AND THE ATTRACTIONS: IMPERIAL BEDROOM: 1982: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: I saw Elvis on this tour- best concert I’ve been to ever, and the next night at the same venue I saw The Clash on their “Combat Rock Tour”- I will never match that back to back. One of my favorite EC albums.
  • VAN MORRISON: COMMON ONE: 1980: 4 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS. Long songs- 55 minute long album- 6 songs. Took repeated plays to sink in but an album that was dismissed by many critics upon its release- today sounds pretty good.

  • THE ROLLING STONES: THE ROLLING STONES: 1964: 4 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS. Only one Jagger-Richard original the rest blues covers.
  • THE ROLLING STONES: 5X5: 1964: 4 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS. 5 more covers.
  • PHIL SPECTOR: BACK TO MONO:  DISC 1: 1991: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS. One of the best box sets ever released. Crazy Phil and his Wall of Sound. A producer who was the star.
  • PHIL SPECTOR: BACK TO MONO: DISC 2: 1991: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS.
  • PHIL SPECTOR: BACK TO MONO: DISC 3: 1991: 5 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS.
