MY LIFE THROUGH MY T-SHIRT COLLECTION- OLE MISS

IMG_0988

On a massively long vacation in 1992 [six weeks of driving around the USA- the main goal was to see as many Major League Baseball ballparks as possible but historical spots were also mixed in along the way] we stopped in Oxford, Mississippi to pay a visit to Count No Count’s { William Faulkner} Royal Oak. While there we went over the the University of Mississippi and I bought the t-shirt above from the college bookstore and I also stocked up on a great notebooks I found there. I have a thing for notebooks and pens. I write a lot so when I come across a notebook or pen that I like I stock up on them. I bought around 50 notebooks- the best I have ever found. Still have some left. The problem these days is it is hard to find a notebook that I like. With computers now there aren’t as many different notebooks out there. About ten years later on another trip down south I stopped at Ole Miss and went to the bookstore hoping against hope that they would have MY NOTEBOOK still for sale. They no longer carried it.
