John Paciorek- The Perfect Baseball Player- Only Game This Day 1963

On this day in 1963 right-fielder John Paciorek of the Houston Colt 45’s had a perfect day. He went 3 for 3, driving in three runs and scoring four times in his major league debut. He walked 2 times. He got on base all 5ive times he came to the plate.  He also made two outstanding defensive plays. You would think from that start he might have been on the road to stardom. He would never play again. Due to severe back problems he would never play in the majors again. He stayed in the minors until 1969. His younger brothers Tom would have a long baseball career, another brother Jim played 48 major league games.
