Written by the same songwriter who wrote their biggest hit ‘I Think I Love You’ a #1. This one not as good or as successful. Overall The Partridge Family had 9 Hot 100 hits from 1970-73 with 7 making the Top 40.
They were worse than the Monkees, and they didn’t play instruments, except for Dave. The show was almost as bad. The Cowsills would have been better because that’s the family the show was modeled after, but the Cowsills father made an ass of himself and demanded crazy money, so the tv folks passed. There is a good doc on Netflix about the Cowsills.
