I will give credit where credit is due- for once Mariah Carey doesn’t over do it with her voice. Not as good as the Jackson 5–but I will give it a B her best hit.
Geez seems like all the top spots every since you hit the 90s are divas. Sigh.
She’s a hell of a singer when she keeps her voice out of the “screech” range.
While I usually don’t listen to Mariah Carey, I think she did an outstanding job covering this tune. I also dig the guy’s voice. The other backing vocalists sound great as well. I would go as far as calling this rendition as good as the original.
