The J. Geils first Hot 100 single. The J.Geils band from Boston- featured Peter Wolf on vocals. They would have 18 Hot 100 hits with 10 making the Top 40. Their biggest hit was ‘Centerfold’ a #1 in 1981. ‘Looking For A Love’ was the debut hit by The Valentino’s- a band featuring Bobby Womack- and produced by Sam Cooke in 1962. Womack would have a #10 hit with the song in 1974.
