The Dave Clark Five’s- 6th Top 10 hit in the US- it was the title track from the John Boorman directed movie- to promote the DC5 in the summer of 1965. This was John Boorman’s first film- he would go on to direct 22 movies and earn two Academy Award nominations for Deliverance and Hope And Glory.

  1. I always liked DC5. Though nothing like the Fabs, or the Hollies, they had their own sound and vibe. Most of their songs are organ and drum driven with decent harmonies. The one show I could not make it to had them on the bill with Hermans Hermits and some other non-notables. Ahh, the good ole’ English days of rock.
