The Who had 26 Hot 100 hits with 16 making the Top 40. ‘Behind Blue Eyes’ is from their classic Who’s Next album- one of the greatest albums in rock history- one of those albums where every song sounds like it should have been a hit single.
Listened to “Who’s Next” on a long drive yesterday. Brilliant record. Two things that caught my ear – Moon’s drumming leads most of the songs and I had forgotten how much Pete gets to sing. I love the contast when he and Roger share lead vocals on a song.
One of my all-time favorite Who tunes that still gives me the chills every time I listen to it. That “Who’s Next” album is just so good!
One of my favorite albums by anyone!
Shocking that this brilliant song only peaked at #34 in the U.S.
Yup
Looooooove !!!! 😎
