  1. “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and “Making Love Out of Nothing At All” were both written by the same person, Jim Steinman, and actually sound somewhat similar in their over-the-top arrangements. So it’s your own bias that caused you to give Bonnie Tyler’s song an A, but Air Supply’s a D. I’d give them both a B-minus.
