The Persuaders were an R&B vocal group from Harlem, New York City. This was their first hit- they had 4 Hot 100 hits from 1971-74- with two hitting the Top 40. The first version of ‘Thin Line Between Love And Hate’- was the cover by The Pretenders on their excellent Learning To Crawl album.
I never liked this song, and like The Pretenders’ cover so much better.
Ditto to The Pretenders’ version. Another fav of mine!
