  1. That is just incredible. Given their music has remained quite popular, I’ve asked myself more than once over the decades whether they would reunite. Eventually, I came to the conclusion it wouldn’t happen.

In addition to the album, they have planned a “digital concert series” at a custom-built venue in London, where they will appear as Abbatars, with the music being performed live by a band. It all sounds a bit crazy to me!

  2. Yep, it’s been a long wait even since they said they’d got these songs ready. The b-side, so to speak, “Don’t shut Me Down” is sort of classic Abba, sounds pretty OK. The single seems a little …slow… to me, but I’ve heard worse. That live show though – that’s strange. Digital versions of themselves? (They stress “not holograms” but I don’t know what the difference is) . And if they’re only imitations of the four – with a real band behind them – why have it only in one stadium in London? Why not tour it as usual? Well, I’m glad they’re back, will have to hear the other songs before deciding if I’m even remotely interested in buying the album, but it’s nice to see veteran stars still working on new things.
