Under The Covers: Other Artists Covering Beatles Songs: ‘Real Love’- Regina Spektor. After six months- the end of this feature- the final Beatles song- and Beatles cover. It still amazes me that every Beatles song- even ‘Revolution #9′ and’ You Know My Name [Look Up The Number] have covers. The final one- from the Anthology project- ‘Real Love.’ .. Tomorrow at this time a new feature that I’ve really been looking forward to- the American Beatles- aka The Osmonds- in depth analysis of each and every Osmond song- plus Donny and Marie- and Jimmy. I can’t hardly wait.

Pretty good cover, which sounds a bit like Sarah McLachlan.
It’s really remarkable how broadly The Beatles have been covered, even songs that were more on the weird side of the spectrum like “Revolution 9”.
When I did my recent feature on covers of Who songs, I had some challenges. For example, I couldn’t find one cover of any tune from “Who Are You” – not even the title track!
I guess it’s yet another indication that The Beatles were the best band ever!😀
The Osmonds anthology dissected…I would PAY to read that one!
