#61: “The Fool On The Hill’- One of six songs from The Magical Mystery Tour to make Hans Hot 100 Beatles Songs- it was a song written by Paul McCartney. He would say later that it may have been inspired by the Maharishi – Paul was sitting at a piano in his father’s house in Liverpool when he made this song up. In the Magical Mystery Tour film- Paul is the only Beatle in the scene where the song is played.
