#67 : ” Getting Better”- Maybe I need to reevaluate my Beatles albums countdown? Only one song from Sgt. Pepper failed to make my Hot 100- and I know I have Sgt. Pepper ranked like #4 on my Beatles Album Countdown. Maybe I need to up it a notch. ‘Getting Better’ was mostly written by Paul McCartney- but it was John Lennon who piped in with my favorite line in the song-‘ can’t get no worse’ which kind of balances Paul’s optimism.
