American Top 40- The 1980’s- Week of August 11, 1984. My favorite year of music in the 1980’s would probably be 1984- when I think of that year in music the first thing that comes to mind- Prince and Bruce Springsteen- and an year of some outstanding albums.

  1. Oh, yes! My favorite year of the 80s for music too! Songs like “Centipede” By Rebbie Jackson, “Torture” by the Jackson’s “Modernaire” by Dez Dickerson “Look the Other Way” by the Isley Brothers, “The Borderlines” by Jeffery Osborne “Sexomatic” by the Bar Kay’s and “Some Guys Have All the Luck” by Rob Stewart also comes to mind. 80s synthetic pop was at it’s height that year!
