Bon Jovi followed up on their first #1 hit ‘You Give Love A Bad Name’- with another #1-‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ I guess has become their ‘signature song.’ They would have 5 #1 hits from 1986-90- none of which I care to ever hear again. Some trivia to tell your friends the next time you are watching a New England Patriots game- Bon Jovi is Bill Belichick’s favorite band- Bill knows football…. Rock and Roll maybe not- if these guys were a football team they’d be the Jacksonville Jags.
As a football team, a perennial 4-12 record. Maybe 5-11 in a good year. :-).
Played soccer against him when I was playing for his native town lol!!!
See my comment on last Bob Jovi #1 – another guilty pleasure. 😀
While I admittedly liked it better in the day, I still feel it’s not a bad tune. So I guess let’s agree to disagree on this one! 🙂
This is the only song of theirs I really like. As I stated on a previous post of yours, that intro is one of the best.
