Lordy Mama! Just look at those iconic songs! 1966! What a year for everything! One of the few absolute creative prolific high points in musical history! Can’t stop with the exclamation points! Whew!
Looking at the top 10 I can’t believe that inane crap of a record Red Rubber Ball was #3… over Paint It Black and Barefootin’ ? and Sinatra on R&R top 40 radio ? I recall when Top 40 played that even worse record of his Something Stupid, god I hated that one ! Get that junk off the rock n roll stations, that’s what MOR stations are for
