Delaney Bramlett and his wife Bonnie had 7 Hot 100 hits- with 2 making the Top 40- ‘Never Ending Song Of Love’- was their most successful hit. Friends- at various times included- Leon Russell, Rita Coolidge, Dave Mason, Eric Clapton and Duane Allman. Delaney and Bonnie were divorced in 1972- and their group ended then also.
I’ve always loved this song!
They played Texas International Pop Festival in August 1969. Good band at that time. It was only 105 degrees, so I don’t know how they managed to hold up. The stage was partially covered, but not enough.
I’ve heard more about them than I’ve heard them… this song I know well of course.
