  1. While after I had pretty much ignored the Grateful Dead for decades I finally started to explore them a bit a few years ago, I’ve never become a deadhead – even though I jokingly declared at the time I had transitioned from a bonehead to a deadhead.

Based on what I’ve heard, I’m mostly drawn to their early period, in particular the “Workingman’s Dead” and “American Beauty” albums from 1970. I’m generally less of a fan of their 15-minute-plus live jams, though every now and then I can do “Fire on the Mountain.”

BTW, congratulations for finding a really short live tune by the Dead! πŸ™‚
