The follow up to King Floyd’s biggest hit ‘Groove Me’ #6 in late 1970- ‘Baby Let Me Kiss You’ is the only other Top 40 hit in King Floyd’s career. King Floyd an R&B singer/songwriter was born in New Orleans in 1945- and died at the age of 61 in 2006.
Sounds good…not as good as Groove Me but that one is hard to live up to. He did have a style and I love his voice.
Sounds like something that would have come out of Muscle Shoals. He sounds like James Brown Lite, which works for me.
