Richard Thompson has had a long and successful musical career going way back to the late 60’s as lead guitarist and songwriter for Fairport Convention, his albums with then wife Linda and for the past four decades as a solo artist. His cover of The Beatles ‘It Won’t Be Long’ -the first song on With The Beatles- is on Richard’s 1000 Years Of Popular Music album from 2003.
