Blondie was riding high on the charts in the late 70’s -early 80’s- they had a great run. ‘Call Me’ was the main song from the movie American Gigolo. Originally Stevie Nicks was approached to write and perform a song for the soundtrack but she declined due to her record company situation prevented her from working with Moroder who then turned to Blondie. I like this song but to me Blondie started to lose the plot after the Eat To The Beat album [which I liked a lot]
