‘You’re All I Need To Get By’ is best remembered as the duet between Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell which went to #7 on the Hot 100 in 1968- and #1 on the R&B Singles Chart. Just a few years later Aretha put her stamp on the song and took it to #19 on the Hot 100. Aretha was at her peak in the late 60’s- early 70’s after moving from Columbia to Atlantic Records.
