1979 started out a lot like 1978 had for The Bee Gees- it was only March and The Bee Gees already had 2 #1 hits on the year. This was their 5th consecutive single to go to #1. The Bee Gees wrote 3 #1 hits in one day- on a day off from working on Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band- a movie they should have passed on- they wrote “Too Much Heaven” and “Tragedy”- and also knocked off “Shadow Dancing” a #1 for brother Andy.
