The Originals: Songs The Beatles Covered: “Bad Boy”- Larry Williams. The Beatles recorded “Bad Boy” the same day as they recorded another Williams song- “Dizzy Miss Lizzy” on what happened to be Williams birthday- May 10, 1965. In the United States it would be included on The Beatles VI album, in the UK it would be on A Collection Of Beatles Oldies. John Lennon sang the vocals. It would be the only song The Beatles recorded which had the word ‘poop’ in it. The original by Larry Williams was written and released as a single in 1958 -and while it was released as a single it did not chart.
