The theme from the movie A Star Is Born- with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. Streisand won the Grammy for Song of The Year and became the Academy Award for Best Original Song- the first woman composer to be honored with that award. The single was Babs second #1- “The Way We Were” was the first back in 1974.
Love the song, but the film was not good.
I don’t think I”ve seen that version of the film. I think a couple decades ago I saw the original no it was the Judy Garland -2nd generation one.
The Judy Garland/James Mason version is the best. I still haven’t seen the latest with Lady Gaga/Bradley Cooper.
