Abraham Lincoln put technologies of Civil War era to good use

Civil War 160- Sunday November 18, 1860- On a day when the legislature of Georgia voted to spend a million dollars on arming the state- in Springfield, Illinois the President-elect Abraham Lincoln told a newspaper reporter that he still felt succession by the southern states wouldn’t be attempted.
