Dennis Yost & The Classics IV- a soft rock band from Jacksonville, Florida- featuring Dennis Yost. They had 12 Hot 100 singles with 5 making the Top 40 from 1967-75. Their biggest hit was “Traces” #2 in 1969. This single is not to be confused with The Kinks classic “Where Have All The Good Times Gone.”
Didn’t really know this song, but I like the Classics IV, and the band Yost plus the writers Buie and Cobb went on to form, the Atlanta Rhythm Section.
I really liked the Classics IV, and bought their greatest hits album in late 1969 or early 1970, but have never heard this song.
