A September of Demento continues with an old favorite- “Shaving Creme” by Benny Bell. “Shaving Creme” was written by Benny Bell in 1946 and originally sung by Paul Wynn. Dr. Demento had a big part in making this song a hit- after he started to play it on his show- the song was reissued as as single and made it all the way to #30 on the singles chart in 1975.
