A September Of Demento- A long time favorite on the Dr. Demento Show- “Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah”- by Allan Sherman- which was recorded back in 1963. This novelty song was actually a big hit- reaching #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 for three weeks. It was kept out of the #1 spot by “Fingertips” by Little Stevie Wonder and “My Boyfriend’s Back” by The Angels. It won a Grammy for Best Comedy Performance.
Now this one I liked.
Gee this takes me back. It got a fair bit of airplay in the UK. I used to love it. I think any child who has ever been on any kind of school camp can relate.🤣
Thank you for this trip down memory lane.
That song makes you feel like you were there with him.
That’s funny
