  • Former Detroit Tiger outfielder Bobby Higginson born 50 years ago today. Higginson was a pretty good hitter on some awful Tiger teams in the 90’s-00’s. He hit 187 home runs and a lifetime .272 batting average from 1995-2005- all spent with the Tigers.
