The Ides Of March were a rock band out of Chicago. Their one big hit came earlier in 1970- “Vehicle” #2. Overall they would have 5 Hot 100 hits only the one making the Top 40. Their singer Jim Peterik would later become the keyboard player for Survivor.
New one on me.
Why did the band Chicago prosper but the Ides of March fizzled?
They do sound similar. Maybe management? Record company- something behind the scenes.
