The Hollies a pop-rock band from Manchester, England featuring Allan Clarke and Graham Nash. From 1964-83 they had 23 Hot 100 singles with 12 making the Top 40. Their biggest hit just came up short of the top #2 “Long Tall Woman {In A Black Dress”} 1972. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2010.
I have been to a Hollies Concert. I remember it for all the wrong reasons unfortunately.(Nothing to do with The Hollies, they are a cool band.)
That would have been a good one to see.
I’ve never heard this but, it’s not bad.
This has more depth than their catchier songs. I don’t think I’ve heard it before, but I like it. I looked up who was/was not on this one…according to wikipedia, Elton John played piano on it.
Didn’t know Elton played on it- but not surprised. Thanks for the info!
