Three Dog Night was a pop-rock band out of Los Angeles who had 21 Top 40 hits in the first half of the 70’s. All of their Hot 100 hits made it to the Top 40- pretty amazing accomplishment.  They had 3 #1 hits – this one was their first then “Joy To The World” in 1971 and “Black &White” 1972.
