Little Milton- born James Campbell Jr in Inverness, Mississippi was a blues guitarist and singer. His big hit was “We’re Gonna Make It” a #1 hit on the R&B charts- and his biggest pop hit #25 in 1965. Overall he had 29 R&B hits from 1962-83. He had 10 Hot 100 pop hits and one Top 40 hit. Little Milton died of a stroke in 2005 at the age of 70.
