Happy and thankful for this link, Hans. It sure didn’t take them long to get the article out there, wow. I’m glad someone else did all of the work on the references. My thought is that Dylan’s getting ready to retire or he knows his days are numbered…
Bob is 78. I saw him a year and a half ago and he was still going strong. He will be out there as long as he can do it- it’s what he does.
I wonder Hans how much is in his vaults? As prolific as he is there is no telling. I haven’t got to listen to this yet properly because of work…I’m going to this weekend.
That is a good question. I have a hard time for example thinking that in the last 8 years that he hasn’t written much- I think he just has chosen not to release anything. I would bet over a near 60 year career- there would be a careers worth of unreleased material!
Heard this on Music Enthusiasts site. I like it. Violin is a nice touch.
I wonder if he has a new album up his sleeve? At 17 minutes with this one song he is well on his way to one.
I’m still catching up on his last few.
I need to spend more time with his 21st century output myself.
I think the last one i have is ‘Modern Times’. I really like it.
Modern Times a good one! I saw him a year and a half ago and he played a lot of the songs from his last few albums- of songs he had written- of course with some classics mixed in.
I’d probably want to see Bob at this time. Was it a more intimate venue?
Youngstown State University’s basketball arena- I’d guess it holds 5000. Sounded good.
Perfect. Just my style. Bob always has a top notch band.
