Who would have known when the 70’s began- that the Bee Gees would have such a huge decade? The decade didn’t start that way- in 1970- they had 3 Hot 100 singles with only one of them making the Top 40 “Lonely Nights” #3 at the end of the year. Overall in their career the Bee Gees had 43 Hot 100 hits with 30 making the Top 40. They had 9 #1’s- all of them coming in the 1970’s- including one stretch in the late 70’s where they had 6 singles in a row go to #1. Note- In 1970- the Bee Gees were Barry and Maurice- Robin was AWOL- to be reunited with his brothers later in the year.
