Frank was coming off a big finish to the 60’s -with one of his signature hits in 1969 “My Way.” Sinatra would only have one more Top 40 hit in 1980 with another iconic signature hit- “New York, New York.” Sinatra after he went solo in 1942- had hits on the charts from 1943 until 1980.
“I Would Be In Love [Anyway}- was from Frank’s poorest selling album ever- Watertown- which was slammed at the time of release but over the years has received much better reviews.
