“Is Anybody Goin” To San Antone” was one of Charley Pride’s 29 total #1 hits on the Billboard Country Singles Chart.  Pride had 67 country hits. Not bad for a fella whose #1 dream was to play in baseball’s Major Leagues. He did play in the Negro Leagues. On the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Charts he would have 10 Hot 100 singles with 1 making the Top 40- “Kiss An Angel Good Mornin'” #21 in 1971. Pride was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2000.
