- The film The Magic Christian starring Peter Sellers and Ringo Starr opens in New York City. The satirical black comedy also has appearances by John Cleese, Graham Chapman, Raquel Welch, Spike Milligan, Christopher Lee, Roman Polanski and Richard Attenborough. Providing the music to the film- Badfinger. The film did not receive good reviews.
- Japan became the fourth nation to launch a rocket and a satellite into orbit. The other three- United States, Soviet Union and France.

I have never heard of that film. It’s full of stars. I’m intrigued.
I have never seen it- full of stars has to be at least an interesting watch.
I found it on Amazon Prime. It’s an inexpensive rental. They give it four stars. Hmmm. I’m definitely going to have to see it for myself.
