  • DAVID BOWIE: DIAMOND DOGS: 1974: 4 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: IPOD: Bowie’s 8th album- Ziggy Stardust was retired. This album heavily influenced by Orwell’s 1984. The professional reviews on this one was all over the place.

  • DAVID BOWIE: YOUNG AMERICANS: 1975: 4 1/2 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: IPOD: The follow up album after Diamond Dogs- a Philly Soul album. Bowie always changing. “Fame” a #1 hit single with the assistance of John Lennon and a cover of The Beatles “Across The Universe.”

  • JOHN LENNON/ YOKO ONO: DOUBLE FANTASY: 1980: 4 1/2 STARS OUT OF 5 STARS: IPOD:My friend Dan had all of Yoko’s albums and was a big fan of hers. I listened to those albums back in the day- a couple times each- no thanks. I will say her songs on this album are the most accessible of her career. Ranking the John songs on the album- favorites first- 1- Watching The Wheels 2- Just Like Starting Over 3-I’m Losing You 4- Beautiful Boy 5- Dear Yoko 6- Woman 7- Clean Up Time.
