Bobby Goldsboro had 26 Hot 100 hits from 1964-73 with 11 making the Top 40. His biggest hit was a #1- “Honey” in 1968. Goldsboro born in Florida but grew up in Alabama went to Auburn. The cool event on his resume was he played guitar for Roy Orbison from 1962-64. His biggest hit of 1970 was to come later in the year when he polluted the airways with “Watching Scotty Grow” #11. This song “Mornin’ Mornin”- reminds me of Jim Croce for some reason [minus the horns}
Thanks for this. He was a real favorite of mine
I can hear Jim Croce in there also.
