The Beatles Cover of the Day is “Two of Us” by Aimee Mann and Michael Penn. The Beatles “Two of Us” was on the final studio release in 1970 Let It Be- it is one of their more underrated songs I have always thought. Paul has always said he wrote about about the drives that he would take with his wife Linda- just going out for drives and getting lost. I have always thought their was a little about John in there too. Aimee Mann and Michael Penn- are married- and I have been a big fan of Aimee Mann’s since her first album with the band Til Tuesday. “Two of Us”  is a fantastic cover- it appeared in 2001 on the I Am Sam movie soundtrack.
